Welcome! We are so glad that you landed on this page.
So sit back, relax, and find out about how Kicks and Kindness came to be!
Saved by Faith and Fashion
Like so many of us, the 2020 pandemic turned our world upside down. While Shanda had just finishing school to be a Holistic Health Practitioner, the world shut down. Shanda prayer hard for answers on what she was meant to do. She prayed hard that whatever He brought to her, would be for Him and be a way to make a positive impact in the world.
And then BAM! Everyone needed masks. Shanda, Amora, and Shanda's mom Charlie decided to make them. After cutting 350 form fitting masks by hand, they bought a Cricut Maker to cut the fabric instead. That Cricut unexpectedly opened up another door that Shand and Amore did not see coming.
Many times Shanda had prayed similar things over the years. Prayers for direction. Prayers for a path. Prayers for answers. And it is funny how all of those answers to past prayers have led her here to have an socially conscious small business. What started as vinyl shirts and sublimation, has upgraded into custom shoes and refashioned apparel! God has truly blessed Kicks and Kindness!
Just remember, the road to get to where you are supposed to be usually isn't a straight line like so many expect it to be. But instead it is full of highs and valleys. You drown...you succeed...you repeat. All of this to say, God has a plan for you. He wants you to succeed. Just be open to the possibilities and enjoy the ride.
